and, what cpu did you run with that card?
someday i am going to play it on my rendition v1000 too.
for the record a vood0o 5 with 2x 2800+ amd processors nets a 13.3 fps @ 1280x1200 If I started without steam, and without excel and crome in teh backgroun i probably could do a bit better. ;P

C2D E8500 @ 3.8 , Nvidia GTX580 3GB , 1920x1200, highest settings (No AA, No AF, Trilinear filtering) 106.2 FPS.

I think it's not too bad for this 4+ year old machine.

core2duo e7400 @ 3.33g(333*10), geforce 7900gtx: 104fps.
core2duo e8400 @ 3.6g(400*9), geforce gts250: 121fps.
k6-2+ 550(100*5.5), geforce2 mx200: 6.4fps
cyrix 6x86-66(66*1), rage128vr: 0.50fps.(yeah, this demo has 1508 frames, and took more than 3000 seconds to finish)
winchip-133(66*2), rage pro: 0.53fps.
pentium3-850, rendition1000: 2.0fps.
