I stumbled on the motherload of Virge info. Maybe somebody would like to emulate it? 😀 Actually I think I recall a thread asking for this info about a year ago but I can't find it anymore...

Maybe if emulated in DOSBox on a fast PC it would became a real 3D accelerator 😉

I found my copy of the S3 S3D Toolkit (SDK). I'll be uploading it to VogonsDrivers soon. 😀

The sourcecode to the toolkit used to be available around 1998-1999 but I don't have it. Someone at Beyond3D should though because the website that had it once upon a time was hosted by Dimension3D.
