Why can't I run my Simcity 3000 cd on my Win 7 PC? Would it help to run it under Dosbox?
SC 3000 is not a DOS game so Dosbox would not help.
Try to run it in XP compatibility mode? ( right click, properties, compatibility )

Simcity 3000 works on 7 x64, no patching required. It does take a while to start up because Games Explorer is busy enumerating it.
Vanilla 98-dated edition retail CD tested.
My Win 7 is 32.
Have tried all you suggest, but nothing works.
Strange that Win7/64 works but Win7/32 don't...

As already noted, SC3000 is not a DOS game, so nothing about DOSBox will help you. This is not a Windows game advice forum.
