Is it possible to setup pppd in windows 7?
I searched this forum, and learned that VPN could help solve internet connectivity problem. But I am not sure how to set this up. Any good software and links on tutorials about setting up dosbox VPN is greatly appreciated!

DOSBox doesn't require a VPN.

People use VPN software with DOSBox because they are lazy or their networks are restricted. Those are the only reasons.

I can see my router has a MAC address through configuration, in theory, it should work. But trumpet twinsock returns a string of zeros for the gateway/router MAC address. I am trying Megabuild 6 with a ne2000 virtual network card. Is dosbox lacking tcp/ip stack or routing functioality? Is it hard to implement on my own?

I don't get it. You are using DOSBox to run Windows 3.1 to run an old version of Netscape to access a website that can viewed with a modern browser?

What did you need a VPN tunnel for?
