I have a Gravis Gamepad Pro (Gameport version not USB). I am trying top get it working in Windows 98 SE, but am having problems.

If I go and add the gamepad in the control panel, it shows it as OK under status, but when I click on properties to test it all hell breaks loose!

I seems as if the buttons are bring pressed randomly and also the d pad is constantly moving and behaving very erraticly.

I have tried to calibrate the pad, but this does not work. I also tried adding it manually by adding a custom controller and choosing 4 button controller, 2 axis, but no luck.

I have tried googling this issue, but cant find much about it. Any ideas? Thanks.

Did you switch it from GrIP mode on the back?

Your Gravis Xperience CD should have drivers for it

If you lost the CD, then here's an archive.org backup. Why it's there is anyone's guess.
