Hi!
This is my first post here, so i hope that i post in proper section 😀

I have a problem with game Sideline (from 1997 i think).
It is a very rare shooter game. I did not find any information about it on the Internet, so I will put links in case, if you do not have this game to test.

PS.If you got error that file c:\api4gw.swp can not be created
then change path for VirtualMemorySwapFileName in file Api4GW.ini

The game halts during loading with a message in polish about installing a memory manager (I think). The sound setup crashes with illegal memory accesses reported in the console. Both problems are solved by loading either the EMM386 or JEMM memory manager. I suspect the game wants V86 mode or VCPI services.

You can get JEMM here. Change the DOSBox memory settings to xms=false ems=false umb=false and then load JEMM in DOSBox with the command "JEMMEX NOEMS LOAD". After that the game and its sound setup appear to work fine in DOSBox 0.74 and SVN.

The game has a clear 1996 copyright on its title screen. Unless you are certain the game has been released as freeware by the rights holder, you should not be providing it for download anywhere, much less here on vogons.
