Will a program like icache.exe or ice.exe work at disabling the internal cache in a Pentium Pro 200 and what speed would the system be near to if it did?

At the moment I am using icache.exe on a p233 mmx and its working great the system is like a medium speed 486 so early 90s stuff runs well.

The reason I was thinking of switching to a PPro is I have my eye on an atx socket 8 main-board with 4 isa slots and I want to be able to use fastvid as well.

Thanks

I would say it would be about 15% slower. factoring in speed and the fact pentium pro sucks at 16bit programs.

Note that PPro only has 16K L1 cache, half that of Pentium MMX and PII. Removing its stupid fast L2 cache might really cripple it.
