You must already own DOOM2 and DOOM3 BFG Edition for this to work.
Copy NERVE.WAD from ur \Doom 3 BFG Edition\base\wads folder to ur DOOM2 folder
Download the file here, extract to ur DOOM2 folder
http://sourceforge.net/projects/prboom-plus/f … m2-plus/1.92.6/
Launch with the following command:
DOOM2P -file Nerve.wad
DOOM2P makes the following changes, which prevents the aforementioned
R_FindPlane: no more visplanes error
-------------------------------------------------------
limit : old * k = new
-------------------------------------------------------
visplanes[MAXVISPLANES] : 128 * 8 = 1024
drawsegs[MAXDRAWSEGS] : 256 * 8 = 2048
SAVEGAMESIZE : 180224 * 16 = 2883584
activeplats[MAXPLATS] : 30 * 256 = 7680
vissprites[MAXVISSPRITE] : 128 * 8 = 1024
linespeciallist[MAXLINEANIMS] : 64 * 256 = 16384
openings[MAXOPENINGS] : 16384 * 4 = 65536

There's a new episode for DOOM II on XBLA called No Rest for the Living. It came with my copy of DOOM 3 - BFG Edition. I've almost finished all 9 levels and can't get over how well it plays with the XBOX controller.
I'm kind of pissed cause I just realized there's a PC version and I want to rip the new episode onto my Retro-Ghetto PC! Guess I'll wait until it gets marked down. I'm not paying full retail twice!!
Have you guys played this yet? What do you think?
