Today I received a Roland SC-88.
I need to know which devices can emulate (and if so, how to do to enable them).
Do you know if has some music demo inside?
Thank you!

If you mean the SC-55 map, you can enable that by pressing the appropriate button... And yes, there should be demos built in...
Hi!
Yes, I knew that have SC-55 map ( only emulates the SC-55 ? ).
And...the demos built in...how as are operated?
Thank you!
You can find the manual at http://media.rolandus.com/manuals/SC-88_OM.pdf
I think it also has either a CM-32 or CM-64 emulation mode, but it's only useful for the minority of games that don't try to reprogram the synth via SysEx messages.
I have the SC-8820, songs written for Linear Arithmetic Synthesis sound weird at best with it... A purist cannot really skip the MT32, LAPC-I or at least, the CM modules.

Agreed, which is why I also have an actual MT-32 😀
Nice!
The Roland SC-88 have SC55, ( self SC-88 ) and CM-64 maps!
See ya!
To me, my SC-88's CM-64 mode sounded almost identical to my MT-32 for Wizardry 7's music, which doesn't use SysEx customizations.
