I apologize in case this has been asked before. I didn’t manage to find any similar threads so I decided to post one of my own.

I recently purchased Glidos to play TR1 on my PC (Win XP system). Up until now everything was smooth with no problems but when I finished the level where Lara shoots Pierre and takes the second scion (TOMB OF TIHOCAN). After this level there should be a cut scene but instead Glidos crashes back to my desktop. 🙁

Any suggestions why is that happening? What should I do?

Thanks! 😀

Never mind…somehow it fixed itself after several tries. 😕

Hmmm, a bit strange, but glad it seems to have recovered

How EXACTLY did you install and run the game? Are you using Glidos? I've been trying to get Tomb Raider Gold to run properly on XP but to no success.

Hi,
I keep getting the message:
Warning you are running in a non-accelerated Open-GL

I updated my drivers and it didnt help. I saw a forum for new versions of Open GL downloads but there are many and I do not know which OpenGL to download or where to put it. I am running Windows ME

(re Open GL issue)
this is for TR I the original, trying to run in GLidos
Also, it plays the first FMVs but crashes as soon as the TR window comes up ( with the passport and photo etc) to a grey screen

Are you sure the update worked? And where did you get the drivers?

Drivers from Windows Update have OpenGL DISABLED.

Yes, it’s my fault.

I'm lost now. Lior_k has it working now? Guest doesn't. You both have S3 based graphics? I thought S3 was a no no for OpenGL.

Their OpenGL supports sucks terribly, but then again, so does their DirectX support. 😀

Yes, it’s my fault.
