Thanks. The best upgrade on this rig I've ever done is the Noctua NF-R8 fan with a low noise adapter. It is a HUGE difference from the small coolermaster stock fan which could be heard whirring from different parts of the house! I treied different fans, Akasa, coolermaster and xilence (from which I got the 80mm heatsink from) and decided to go ahead with a noctua. Before this I had even oiled and WD-40'd them but small fans are annoying loud. The loudest things now in my system are the hard drives, even then I selected the quietest from my IDE spares. The Samsung is really quiet but the Seagate hums periodically but still realtively quiet.
I have a Gigabyte Radeon 9600xt Ultra, which I took out and replaced with the Geforce MX420 because it's passive.
