It's not needed with dosbox.
Have a look at readme to see, how you can mount a cdrom.

If i use mount x x:/ -t cdrom, it doesn't work on games what check is there a right cd, for example rayman 1/gold. It says that there is wrong disk in drive. I have tested it (rayman) in real dos and it works with the cd but i want to hear sounds.

sorry about my english i'm a finnish guy 😉

Try with the -ioctl switch to mount if you are using a Win32 build of Dos Box. If you're using a build for another OS, this will not work.

ViLe, from a real command prompt, do a

C:> vol X:

to check the label (the name) of the CD. Then in DOSBox, mount it using the extra -label cd-label option.

You got it wrong. It should read something like this...

mount d f:\ -t cdrom -usecd 0 -label 970731_1118
