Has anybody been able to install TFX (flight simulator from DID) in Dosbox?
I can't even install it under Windows... (crashes saying something about the 16-bit subsystem trying to access the HDD directly)

Don't panic.

You need to mount directory with installation files as a floppy (with -t floppy), then it will work.
I had the same problem.

Hello!
I've got somewhat different problem when trying to run TFX. As I am new to dosbox0.63, i read read me and pictorial guide. Unfortunately i didn't quite understand this solution you posted here cuz it asked me for a floppy and i don't have a game on floppy.
However I mounted my c: and done what is explained. In the TFX folder i have CONFIG.BAT file wich runs normaly, but when i want to run TFX.BAT it says:

c:\games\tfx>tfx.bat
c:\games\tfx>start demo
loading...Hardware change please install again

Same happens when i try to run START.EXE

I tried to find the answer so not to bother ye, but i guess I suck, so sorry in advance.
