Is it possible to install a game bought off GOG without using the installer or DOSbox? Say you wanted to install it on actual period hardware, rather than run it in DOSbox on a more modern system?

Pretty sure there's an older thread about this around too...

Thanks, should have done a search first.
See you in the other thread! 😀
Maybe share what games you are interested in?

YUP! I'm doing this on windows 98SE, however i'm using kernel-ex to run the installers. it's not super easy the installers do not work correctly. for example none of the buttons show up so you have to to just hit inter to get the the games to install. when the installer is done do not hot any buttons but, instead end task both processed as the installer run two processes in the task manager not just one.
Not all games work but, most have.
