I ran into trouble with TR1, it worked well for months, but all of a sudden, I wasn't able to play it any longer as a normal user under XP, but only as administrator.
As ordinary user I only got a dos4gw error with general protection fault.
It took me some time to discover, that my path was too long for tombraider, dos allowed only 256 characters for path, xp allows some more...
Perhaps glidos could check for it and warn the user about it or even better: first line in glidos.bat could be:
path %vdmspath%
