I can't get "Der Schatz im Silbersee" running. Without sound it runs perfectly, but as soon as i choose Adlib or SB, the program just crashes right after the intro screen. Any idea?
Tested system: AMD 2400+, ASUS Rock Mainboard, 256 MB RAM, Windows 98SE.

keine besonderen Einstellungen - ich hab's auch schon mit mehreren Konfigurationen probiert, mit EMS und ohne, verschiedene SB Konfigurationen etc... egal was ich mache - sobald ich SB oder Adlib wähle, geht nix mehr vorwärts. Bei "keine Musik" ist's wie gesagt kein Problem. Das Problem konnte ich auf mehreren Systemen regenerieren.

hmm naja wenn der Sound net funzt, dann muss es wol an den Sound einstellungen liegen.Mit welchen Applicationen hast du das Game installiert? und was braucht es? Maybe müsstest du das Game mithilfe einer bestimmten Batch Datei laden die einen Soundtreiber installiert.
Wie bei Crusader war es auch ebenfalls der Fall für den VESA treiber.
Leider funzt bei mir das game genausowenig...eigentlich überhaupt net.
Ich sage nur eins, die Sound einstellungen.Ich werde mich bemühen für dich das Problem zu lösen.Zwar kenne ich das Game net, aber denke du willst es gerne mit Sound spielen, denn Game kommen mit Sound auch nur gut raus.

There aren't much things to change:
There is an INSTALL.EXE (Setup-Program) and the starting exe program. I chose Soundblaster (standard settings like in DosBox, 220/7/1, but also tried it with IRQ 5) and also tried Adlib: Always the same: Game crashes.

Hmmm ...thats strange.OK! Now i maybe know where the Problem is.
Yor tried this Sound-Settings, right?

Now, dont use any Sound Blasters, use some other Sound Cards.But notice, other Soundcards need other Application, so you must change then the IRQ and the DMA and maybe the P.
When that won´t help, i try anyway to help you.
