What games are you playing on that 1.4 GHz beast?

I find that Tualatin motherboards are really hard to source. I do have one but with VIA chipset.

I like it, although a little suggestion would be that a Geforce3/4 would probably fit a 1.4GHz machine better, in my mind a GF2 is more for something up to 1Ghz. A GF3/4 would really let a machine like that scream

otherwise I like it.

The green card with the cooler on it is a ATI Radeon 9800 XL, but I don't realy use it.

Unfortunately the mount of the cpu cooler broke a few days ago (image from internet)

looks like a good solid Win9x gaming machine, which games you going to use it for?

Holy smoke...160MHz FSB. Does that board allow you to lock the PCI/AGP bus while overclocking?
If it does, I just may have to revisit i815.

This board allows me to set the FSB to 166 (1250mhz) and it will work perfectly 😀

EDIT: for 166 FSB it says: FSB 166 PCI 41 clock 😊 😈

I had a mount break off a TUSL2 too. I managed to use a Socket A heat sink because those often grab more than one mount point. Socket A coolers sometimes get too wide though and have clearance problems so you need to try to find a small-ish one.

So it doesn't lock the PCI/AGP bus. Still, the fact that it manages to boot into Windows with the PCI bus running at 41MHz is pretty damn cool. At 166MHz that thing must absolutely scream. 😀

For those who overclock Katmai just keep an eye on the cache chips as some can blue smoke.
