Per the Slashdot story (http://games.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=04/0 … tid=206&tid=209) Bethesda has released The Elder Scrolls - Arena for free in celebration of the 10 year anniversary of TES. For those who don't want to read Slashdot you can go to http://www.elderscrolls.com/tenth_anniv/tenth_anniv.htm to view the announcement page.

The download is 8.76Mb and is a welcome addition to most of the users of DOSBOX that I know. But... to make your heart swell with pride... Bethesda Softworks mentions "PLEASE NOTE: To run this game on newer systems, you will need to download an emulation program. We have provided a link to the DOSBox emulator."

How's that for some schweet recognition?

Just thought some of you might like to know. 😀

Nice of them to make the game available. Now, if they'd just make the manual available as well...
