Hi, i'm new using dosbox. I did a search for Privateer, but, i didn't see anything that addressed my situation. I am trying to get Privateer to run. I don't know the commands to use. I got Arena to run So, i thought i would just use the commands that i used for that. But, nothing seems to work. So, i was wondering what commands you use to get privateer running. Thanks.

In order to make run Privateer, you must setup the ems=false, and make sure that the irq of the soundblaster specified in the dosbox.conf is the one that your sound card is using.
Doing that i make it run 😀

Terwin - The emulated irq in Dos Box doesn't matter. That is the IRQ that the DOS games within Dos Box will see. The emulated sound data will then be handed off to your real sound card at the proper IRQ, so it doesn't matter. For example, my SB Live is currently PCI - routed to IRQ 11. No DOS game in the world would expect a sound card on that IRQ. But Dos Box's sound blaster Pro 2.0 is on IRQ 7, a very common IRQ for an ISA sound blaster to be on (the other common IRQ is 5)
