I'm sorry, I misconstrued what you meant by "awesome". I apologize.
And your average home PC won't do that. That's around much heavier electrical gear (substations, power supply rooms in buildings, power plants, sometimes data center power facilities)
Worst I've had happen to a PC, was when my uncle handed me a bunch of parts, and asked me to put it together. On paper, everything looked good, but when I fired it up, I wondered why the hell there was a bright LED near the CPU? And then the burnt silicon smell hit. A VRM caught fire for some reason.
