Just bought this. Guy had it up for $49.95 or best offer. I offered $30, he took it so $40 with shipping.

My first external module. Now I just have to wait for it to arrive.

Nice, I have the same one (also my first module 😀 ). The differences with the SC-55 aren't that great, and the price is right! I hope you have fun with it!

Wasn't sure if I did ok on the price, but considering so few games need anything beyond the basic Roland GM patches, I figured it would be a good first buy.

Yes, I have this one as well and the sound is excellent. Comparing to my SC-55 MKII, I think it actually sounds more accurate; it always sounds like my MKII is off-key, but the MKII may also be defective. The two GM sets should sound identical, I believe.

You got a really good price on it. I compared tracks like WC2 and the GM sounds the same.

Doom isn't just a game, it's an apocalypse survival simulator.

You can do it in Paint or just take your pictures in a lower resolution next time.

Gimp/Photoshop/Paint.NET/etc (basically any image editor) can also do it (the "next step" if it isn't apparent is to re-post the new, lower resolution image). And some image hosting sites can also resize for posting (photobucket does, for example). 😀

Bought the classic ATC Coolermaster case which was the one to have back in the day. This is to house my ~1999/2000 build which is bursting at the seems.

Ebay photos, waiting for seller to post.

Will keep an eye out for it - sounds like it'll be an awesome build though. 😀

I sensed he was a fellow traveler. So hard to pass up NIB hardware at such low prices (although the SB wasn't cheap). I'm working on a sealed Intellivision game collection, and the affliction is carrying over to PC hardware.

And this Creative AWE64 CT4500, because it was cheap, and leave it at my stock pile. (could always come the handy in near future)

And some atmel 28C64 eeproms to flash new ones for my other floppy card.

Also bought three of these asrock motherboard and are delivered
