Use the version from http://www.glidos.net. You have to pay to get rid of the logo, but it has the advantage of know hacker-introduced viruses. 😁

Oh sorry. There is a hacked version about, and that's exactly what it does crash, either just the game or the whole computer, after about five minutes.

So, not being that, it must be something like your screen saver cutting in.

Mind you, Blood is tempermental. Not really to do with Glidos: Blood doesn't like running in the XP environment. It seems to work for most people though - and if it does fail, its usually right from the start, rather than after five minutes. For me, it always fails the first time I try to start it, but works the second.

Ah ha! My screensaver was active and it was set to 5 minutes. Maybe that will solve it.

Update: It's still crashing. Sometimes after 3 minutes, sometimes after 10 or so. I haven't figured out exactly what causes it.

Is this just with Blood, or do you have other games you play via Glidos?

I don't own any other games that use Glidos. I could go download one from a P2P network, but that would take me a while to confirm this erratic behavior.

I'm looking into this problem. Hopefully I'll have it sorted soon.
