Why wont Lameduke work in Hi-res mode in dosbox?

Hi! It seems that when I try to play lameduke in 640x480 mode in dosbox, it immediately crashes with a bunch of messages. So i'm stuck with the pre-included 320x240 modes.

The Shadow Warrior Mod that makes weapons O.P., plus adds more ammo: My First Shadow Warrior mod.

Lameduke is very beta code in case you haven't noticed, it's full of stability issues. Try fixed cycles and svga_s3.

I know that it is in beta, and I tried svga_s3 with default config for cycles. Also tried vesa_oldvbe.

It does not work well in hi-res mode even on real DOS.
