That's the one big pain with all this, it doesn't work well for people without credit cards. Things I've had other people do:

Get someone else to use their credit card and pay them back in cash.

Send a 10 UK pound note to my postal address here. Should be easy enough to obtain UK money, like if you were taking a vacation here.

Do an electronic transfer using the IBAN number of my bank account.

You probably have something left over from having the hacked version on your machine. That's a little worrying. I've no idea what it might be, or how to remove it.

I was briefly looking on that Russian page, people were reporting there this problem as well with the hacked version.
My knowledge of Russian is very weak (I learned it at school and I have never used it since), but I think that the problem is not in some backdoor in the hacked version, but either in bad crack or in the fact that some problem with BIOS is being exposed in connection of some graphic cards and registered version of GliDOS (which for some reason does not appear in unregistered version).
IMHO it could be useful for GliDOS to ask a Russian speaker to translate the thread on that russian site for him (there may be some genuine bug in GliDOS).
As I said, I do not know much Russian, I also do not have/use either Tomb Raider or Glidos, so the above written can be nonsense...

Difficult to know what to believe though. If the information is coming from the hacker, then he certianly isn't going to admit to putting a backdoor in his hack. And if the problems with the legitimat version is always on a computer that has had the hacked verison on it, then that speaks for itself.
