What happened to these videos?
Halcyon: PC Chips M525, P100, 64MB, Millenium 1, Voodoo1, AWE64, DVD, Win95B

Removed them because of the music I used. Might do new ones one day.
Ok, need you to put up at least a text log of how you did the dos shortcut steps within windows. I went nuts looking for that info!

Yea or slow down maybe. I will think of something.
I want to one video along the lines of "Got Windows 98 installed, now how the #@!$%$ do I get DOS going".
Rather than doing a whole build log when a lot of people just struggle to get DOS going. And explain the difference between DOS windows and MS-DOS mode.
Yeah, running into hell getting some DOS games going on my newly rebuilt win98 machine. Love the videos man.

Really? What was wrong with the music for Heaven's sake? That was one of the best legacy build videos ever. In fact, it was that particular video that got me started in the retro computing thing. Now, four builds later I find that you removed the videos? Some of your best work IMO.
You just gotta get this fixed! The fate of the "retro" world as we know it hangs in the balance. <<== NOT sarcasm either... at least not much. 🤣
Seriously- and I kid you not in that it was one of the very best legacy build "how to" series out there.

Expect out of life, that which you put into it.
Now I feel bad 😒
I checked and must have deleted it. But I found them on my filehistory machine (it's a Windows 8.1 backup feature) which I use in my home network. It backs up all my captures, projects and videos...
Leave it with me. I'll see what I can do...

Youtube is very dumb on copyright anymore 😢 .
You can probably get flagged for a black screen & playing a single steady tone now 🤣 .

Nah it was my fault. I did use a copyrighted song 😀

That's the one 😀
Me and my big mouth, sorry 😒 You have other excelent choices. Viewing your videos is a pleasure also because of the soundtrack you choose.
Using file history (what a great Windows 8.1 feature) I recovered my old files and produced the videos again using clean music from the YouTube Music library 😀
Here is the playlist: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL_Vi9gZ … ETU-VWM7mUe52OB
Part 3 is somewhat out of date and my latest video "MS-DOS mode Windows 98 tutorial" is easier to follow: http://youtu.be/gSEdHL6LcjI
Woo-hoo! All is right in the world. 😀
