How'd you get the 450MHz P3 to run at 133 FSB?

Easily, even higher, but this is optimal on 😎 ASUS P3B-F,
after all bench, reset and 4.5hours running yet, look closer here >
*ASUS P3B-F *Intel Pentium!!! 450MHz Katmai@133fsb *Hynix 4x128MB SDR PC133 CL2 *Matrox G400MAX 32MB + Procomp Voodoo2 12MB SLi *Creative SB Live! CT4760 *3Com 3C905C-TX-M *2xSeagate 40GB 7200rpmn *EIZO T68 19"CRT * Creative FPS1000 *OS: MS Win 98SE
No, from the internet

IBM was one of the few companies that could make beige look good.

A notable stepping for enthusiasts was SL35D. This version of Katmai was officially rated for 450 MHz, but often contained cache chips for the 600 MHz model and thus usually was capable of running at 600 MHz.
Further trivia in my notes: "stepping 3, which may mean sl35d"

I just tracked down the service manual. It was a bit of dig so here's the link

It's missing the first page, which is weird, but the parts list at the end makes it looks like it covers model FB775C-EA and FB775C-EP

I wonder if you upgrade your video card, perhaps you might be able to watch YouTube videos in 720p/1080p.
Look what I found in the attic of my parents house. I guess I must have stored it around 2000 and forget about it. This was actully my brothers computer which he upgraded in 1998 from P-1 120Mhz. I must have removed and sold all the components except the motherboard and CPU. There was also a USB 1.0 and 3com Nic installed.
I just tested it and it runs OK. Battery was dead so I removed it.
Motherboard is Socket 7, Shuttle HOT-569 v2.0 with i82430TX chipset. There is also review on Anandtech and TomsHardware. It runs a AMD K6-2/300 1.8V. Mobo was/is configured to run it at 66x5.5 = 366MHz.

That case again... I think everyone must have had it at some point.
Good to see you're holding up the tradition:

I didn't even notice that until I uploaded the picture 🤣 Maybe this is how they were assembled.
Now I turned the cover around.

I didn't have that case 😜.
Btw how do u set the small lcd screen to show the cpu frequency?i remeber back then i had a 3 digit lcd screen and you could set it by pressing the turbo and reset buttons but can't remeber exactly how.
There are jumpers on the back side of LCD.

Nice collection of LED panels.

To be clear, these don't show frequency per se, they show whatever two choices you've made with the jumpers. The panel is wired to swap between the two states when the Turbo LED state changes.
My mintower had an oddball. It had a strange pinout, and even stranger name: "Wendy II". A product of Lost Boys Engineering, I guess.
I clearly remeber that i was setting the numbers on lcd by pressing the button's on front of the case,i even had a small instructions paper for it.
Ah! That's what you meant. That's a neat feature.
Just finished a 2001 era rig:
- Pentium 4 1.7Ghz socket 423
- 640 mb of ram Rambus memory (800 mhz)
- Creative Geforce 3 TI500 64MB
- Creative SoundBlaster 5.1
- 2x 80GB HDD for dual boot Win98\WinXP
Just installed a few old steam games on the XP partition. Quite a trip to the year 2001 😀
