Hello,
I've been trying to run the games in the subject line on Windows XP pro. I just get a blank screen or some weird pixellation when doing so. Sometimes there is music, other times not. I have an nvidia geforce4 2go video card, in case that matters.

What do you think is wrong, and how can I fix it?

Have you tried VDMSound? I have both programs working using that sound utility on Windows XP MCE. I assume you're talking about the first of the series in both cases.

Hi, change the compatibilty for 256 color and windows 98/me with right mouse button on exe-file (properties) or use dosbox or abandon loader and slow
your Cpu.

Hey folks,
I've been trying to run Space Quest, King's Quest, and Leisure Suit Larry games on my computer (SQ 1, 2, 3, 4, etc). When I double-click the executable in the folder that it's in, a DOS window launches, and I immediately get a black screen. With some games there will be music, and there is none with others. Also, on some games, I will get a seemingly random pixel pattern, though the same one is produced every time I try to run the game. The following is my setup. Any help in getting these games to work would be greatly appreciated.

* I don't know what my motherboard is. I have a Dell Inspiron 8200 laptop

* Pentium 4 1.7 GHz processor
* 512 MB RAM
* nVidia GeForce4Go 64MB
* Creative Extigy external sound card
* Windows XP Professional
* Space Quest series, King's Quest series, Leisure Suit Larry

I've tried running in compatibility mode, but that doesn't help. I tried VDMSound, but that doesn't seem to be doing anything either.
