When I try to play Star Crusader using DOSBox I do the following:

mount c c:\

mount d e:\ -t cdrom

Since the game requires the cdrom to work I obviously had it loaded into DOSBox, but whenever I try to run the game I het the following error:

Exit to error: MSCDEX cannot allocate default buffer.

I have no idea how to fix the problem, and any help would be loved.

I'm wondering... Will it work if we would convert the .com into an .exe
I know tools like Ben Castricum UNP could do it... 😁

it's not hard. it's quite simple actually. Just make sure that you put in the exeheader less memory then the comfile would use.
