Not now. The next version will run W3.1 in standard mode (NOT enhanced mode - so e.g W3.11 will not run at all!).
BTW: it is usefull to search. This was discussed before.

3.11 will run, but Windows for Workgroups will not (only has enhanced mode).

Well, until now I thought Windows 3.11 are Windows for Workgroups 3.11. I did not know there was something else....
Nevermind. In any case it is clear what is meant. 😀

3.11 IS Windows for Workgroups.
There was a Windows 3.10 for workgroups which was available as well as 3.1.

Partially. W3.0 is to W3.1 in about the same relation as original W95 to W98SE. Both are very similar (same architecture) , but there are still some visible improvements in the later products. For example I think that True Type fonts were introduced in W3.1. There were other smaller things. And there are applications which require the later products.

W3.0 started Microsoft success with Windows. It was also the last Windows able to run on PC XT (supporting real mode).

W 3.11 and WfW are different things.
There is a patch which updates 3.1 to 3.11 and that still works in standard mode in dosbox (I'm not sure if there is a standalone 3.11).
W.f.W. however is a different version that only supports enhanced mode.

I'm just going on experience having supplied 100 odd copies with DOS 6.22 on customer's machines. I stand corrected if there was a non workgroup 3.11, I just never saw it in the pricelists!

[edit]
I definitely stand corrected! 😊

I'd like to setup Windows 3.11 for workstations on dosbox0.61.
When i start setup.exe following screen apears:

I'd read this artivle, and I'm sad. VMWare does no SVGA on Win3.11!
It seems: Nobody does like Windows 3.x!
