Anyone here have any experience with ADTPro? I have an Apple IIGS that I would really want to use for such things. I have it connected via a serial cable to my AMD K6 PC build with Windows 98 SE. ADTPro ran just fine on the PC and connected just fine as I clicked on the serial button, but the Bootstrapping menu is greyed out and I can't select it. Any suggestions? Attached below is the trace text file.

EDIT: Just tried it on an XP machine and that decided to work wonderfully as the ADTPro.bat file was what I was supposed to run since I actually ran the .jar file previously instead. X_X Tried the .bat file on Windows 98 and all it gave me was "Bad command or file name". In any case, I'm glad I got it working, but it would be grand if I could get ADTPro running properly on Windows 98 SE.

the ADT pro website has some install instructions http://adtpro.sourceforge.net/install.html and from what it says it sounds like you don't have a java version you can call from the command prompt.

Make sure that you have the necessary Java version installed and all the necessary environment variables are set, and make sure the location of Java's binaries are on the system PATH variable

Same Problem here, but Batchfile does not start. Adtpro 1.3 copied to Harddisk. Installing the latest Java Runtime for Win98se 1.5u22. (jre-1_5_0_22-windows-i586-p.exe)
Does anyone get ADTpro working with Win98se ?

Thx

What happens when you open a command prompt and type "java" (or "java -version") ?

I get a correct info about the installed java version.
I found out that an old Dos-Port of ADT works with Win98se.

Thx
