Got a small problem with DosBox 0.61. When I try to go into full-screen (using alt-enter) the screen goes black as if it's switching,the it returns to windowed mode. Setting the entry in the config file causes it to try to switch twice, but it still ends up in windowed mode. All works fine in windowed mode.

Any help would be gratefully recieved. I prefer playing my games in full-screen.

Incidentally this machine is a Dell Inspiron laptop. 3,2Ghz processor, 1gb memory, ATI 9700 video. Brand new.

try fullfixed=true in the configfile

After a bit of fiddling that did indeed do the trick. I had to set fullfixed to true, fullwidth to 1920 and fullheight to 1200 (the resolution of the screen on this laptop). Then it worked.
Thanks! Now I can play Daggerfall without having to look at a teeny window 😀
