The elks operating system is a slim cut down version of linux. but happens to run in real mode!

I was wondering if there is anyone out there with a good knowledge of dos programming and some linux knowledge.

could make some sort of dos network device driver wrapper, so i could use my isa network dos driver in elks.

or if someone could write some 16bit real mode drivers for a bunch of isa network cards that be great too!

here is a link to the source code please someone be magical and make elks more usuable on our favourite type of platform!

In the case of DOS, I understand most cards use generic NE2000 drivers. Is your card not NE2000-compliant?
