Hi, I am facing several issues with my Tie Fighter CD Edition.

I have a GUS and an AWE64 and I want to have General MIDI output to my MIDI modules and I want to play with it with my joystick.
General MIDI is routed through the AWE64's MIDI port.

If I select GUS for sound effects, my joystick jumps uncontrollable.
If I select AWE64 for sound effects, the General MIDI output causes the game to freeze randomly for 5-15 seconds.

Both are apparently known problems, however I fail to resolve the issue.
