So, how do you developers see these weird dual-core CPUs (probably a P4 and Athlon derivative) affecting how you will code DOSBOX? What threads will go where?

I'm not a dev but the upcoming dual core processors are backwards compatible and I dont think it will affect the way things need to be coded. I guess the coding would change if there were a particular feature they wanted to take advantage of, such as 64bit instructions.
