When Aces of the Deep attempts to run, it quits with the error message: " Cannot enable the A20 line, XMS memory manager required." Can anyone tell me what to do in DOSBox to enable XMS memory management?

My system is a Win XP, P5 2.8Ghz, 512MB RAM, ATI Radeon 9600 128MB Ram.

xms=true in DOSBOX.CONF. But this should be so by default, so there may be another problem.
Well, just try to switch xms and ems parameters on and off, whether it helps
