How come that im not able to play Tomb Raider with the new version (1.29) of glidos..

I currently use versíon 1.19 and the game is running smoothly, but when i save or load games the game freezes for 10-15 seconds...

I have tried everything (i think) with 1.29 but all i get is a "read failure" so i have stopped trying and use the good old 1.19 despite the freeze...

What happens before you get "Read failure"? Run in windowed mode so that you can see what happens. Start from a freshly booted system.

What computer system, particularly which graphics card?

I run it in windowed mode but all i get is a grey screen for 30 seconds and then it stops showing med the warning "read failure"

My Specs:

P4 1.8
Matrox Parhelia 128 (latest drivers)
W2K sp4

Ah Matrox. Might not support the a late enough OpenGL version. You could try taking the Glide2x.dll file from the "Red Baron" page of the Glidos web site, and substitute it for the one in your Glidos folder.

Arhh yes that "red baron" thing did it for me thanks a lot..

Now all i need is to get rid of the 5-10 seconds freeze when i hit esc button ingame..... any suggestions?????
