Mike - if you are being ignored, while others are not, have you sat down and thought about why this is??
Personally, for me you come across as a whiner that expects - or should I say demand - me to help you. That is not an attitude that will earn you many points with me. Secondly, you seem to blatantly ignore my advice of getting assistance with installing FreeDOS from people who specialise in FreeDOS.
Anyway.... Given that you have no interest in keeping your old Win2K and PC-DOS is complaining about all the primary partition entries being in use, I think you should simply re-format your harddisk.
If you can boot from that PC-DOS diskette do that, and then run the FDISK program. Delete any logical partitions from the harddisk, and then any primary partitions. Next create a primary partion of some suitable size (500 MB - 1 GB). You might get the choice of creating the primary partition as an FAT or FAT32 partition. It should not make any difference, but I would play it safe and go for old-fashioned FAT, not FAT32.
Once the primary partion is created, you might want to reboot from the diskette again to give PC-DOS a chance of discovering new, shiny primary partion. If you can, try using the command "FORMAT C:" to (re)format the new partition, followed by "SYS C:" to transfer the PC-DOS system from the diskette to the harddisk.
