I found today this new PCI card on ebay.

According to the specifications, it is using a CS4614 chip that would be SB compatible even in MS-DOS real mode. This is interesting, as I have thought it would not be possible to do.

If this PCI card would work with games like Commander Keen 4, Sierra games etc, then I would be happy to get rid of all old computers and ISA card I currently have.

Looks like a C-Media card to me... Mis-labeled CMI8730 perhaps. Of course, it could be a Crystal as advertised, but I have no experience with that chipset. The C-Media one is reasonable as far as low-cost cards go tough and will work with a reasonable percentage of applications, some, however, do not and I have heard later revisions of the chip have their own set of limitations. I cannot say much for those as all of mine are old.
