Sorry for the title but I don't know how to say it 😜

Ok. You pause DOSBox. You switch to another window and make the window be above DOSBox window. You get back to DOSBox window. You see this:

It seems Windows message handling goes wrong when paused. Closing DOS box via system menu/close or the cross icon don't work either. Does this happen on Linux systems as well?

That's because all output to the SDL screen is stopped. Hit Pause again and it starts right back up.
