Ok, got it.
The directory is "CLIENTS\WFW\NETSETUP" on the Windows NT 3.51 Server CD.
Works great in VMware - no disk changing and fast as hell installation.

I wonder if there is also DOS on this CD if WfW 3.11 with TCP/IP-Stack is there. But found nothing yet...

That's the downfall of WfW: all networking disappears in DOS. You could use the MS networking stuff for DOS, but it eats memory.

2xP2 450, 512 MB SDR, GeForce DDR, Asus P2B-D, Windows 2000
P3 866, 512 MB RDRAM, Radeon X1650, Dell Dimension XPS B866, Windows 7
M2 @ 250 MHz, 64 MB SDE, SiS5598, Compaq Presario 2286, Windows 98

For DOS I'd rather use a packet driver + mTCP than MSCLIENT any day. Less of a hassle setting up, smaller conventional memory footprint and is still mantained.

Dos isn't there only network clients for it.

As alexanrs mentions mTCP works well.,

Apparently 32-bit is dead and nobody likes P4s.
Of course, as always, I'm open to correction...😉

@bbhaag, ~12hours
Sometimes i wish i would upgrade my Internet from 64Mbits to 120 or 200.
But as long as they don't also increase the upload...
But what is 300GB today if you look at HDD prices and some people collect TOSEC, NoIntro, TRUERIP and everything...

That would be ~3 weeks over here 🤣 Though you're right, even MAME has grown to 350GB+ with all the CHDs.

Think your well on the right track but just wanted to mention

- Last Nvidia card officially supported in Win 3x was the TNT2 (Not sure about ATI)
- Another option for a Dos/3x PC is CF card adaptor. So if you want a pure, pure dos PC and a Dos/3x PC you can simply swap the CF card.
- Any big brand network card is fine for Win3x, only cause drivers are easier to find. NE2000 while popular in the day are only a standard not a brand. Some NE2000 cards work perfect with generic drivers, many don't.

I have gotten Dos networking up and running, but it was a pain. Now I just load the IPX drivers for games. I use Windows for networking, as its the only real reason to use 3x on my PC's (and Looner Lander while waiting for file transfers)
