I settled on the black / red delux MV888 case for now since it's got two side slots for 120mm fans and it was dirt cheap. Decent quality steel, no sharp edges and great plastic. I'll buy a new VSK case for it later on, but right now my budget went for an Athlon 64 3800+ and a Leadtek A400 Geforce 6800 AGP card. Both Glide and Direct3D performance rose, and with the right set of drivers I can run all my 1997-2005 games.

Some benchmarks with the new hardware (CPU and video card):

Using the 6800LE (unlocked to 16/6 via riva tuner - clocks are 350 core / 700MHz vram)

Using the Voodoo 2 cards:

I never liked cases with a handle on top as it would make it impossible to stack cases on top of eachother.

Lol 😁 I don't mind the handle as much as the cheap feeling it gives off.

They are the absolute worst quality. Thinner plates than Codegen.
