We want to know what is your veideo board/chipset so we can target OpenGLide to reach the most of you and we can know what extensions we can use.
Please use the Poll and post the OpenGLid.log file to us.

Voted twice since my computer right now houses a Radeon 9700 Pro and my Second Computer has a Geforce 4 Ti4600.

I'll post my OpenGlide info soon but wouldn't this: http://www.realtech-vr.com/glview/

work better?

Especially since it has an XML database of all OGL extensions of various cards: ftp://ftp2.v3x.net/vx/pub/glview-ext.zip

😁

Your profile does not show your OpenGL info... 😀
I need the info that is on the OpenGLid.log file, like extensions and OpenGL version.

Ah, I meant what card I had. Ookay, I'll do it later. 😀

Thought that this was rather important to be overlooked like it was. (ho hum, Fabio!)

Yes, it’s my fault.

I'm currently running a voodoo 3 3000 AGP, but i'm not concerned with its functioning with OpenGLide(except for possible help with testing). I'm here to help me decide on my next card based on how well OpenGLide functions with either Matrox Parhelia(any flight simmer has to be interested in 3 screens), ATI 9700 or geforce 3 or above in regard to RB3D gameplay.

So I didn't answer the poll, but i'll post my current log file. Windows 98SE, 3dfx 1.04 drivers. Reason for the older drivers is that they seem to work with OpenGL games that use the torque engine. Newer 3dfx 1.07 drivers had far fewer extensions that were working, but I don't have that log file anymore.

I like my GF3Ti500. It's speedy and oh-so-good. And, since apparently the GF4 hardware has problems supporting VESA modes above 640x480, I'd stick with the GF3 for now, I suppose.

Yes, it’s my fault.

Snover have you tried any BUILD games in NT with NOLFB? Do higher res's work?

The GF4's VESA works fine in DOS just not in NT above 640X480.
