Hi, Used DOSBox for many years to play my old DOS games in Linux. I have recently changed my laptop to a DELL xps13. This has a UHD (4k) display. If I put DOSBox into windowed mode, I end up with a micro box with micro print!

Can anyone help please?

I guess you can just change the line that reads windowresolution=original to something else, like windowresolution=800x600 for example.

I tried that but I still get micro text. It's like its not picking up the system font? dunno.

This is what I get with the settings show in the config. The full screen res is 3200x1800.
It does not seem to follow the res setting.
what am I missing?

Ok this is what is in my config in /home/alan/.dosbox/dosbox-0.74.conf
NOT what it seems to be picking up!?

fullscreen=false
fulldouble=false
fullresolution=original
windowresolution=1600x900
output=surface
autolock=true
sensitivity=100
waitonerror=true
priority=higher,normal
mapperfile=mapper-0.74.map
usescancodes=true

OK got brain in gear and realised that output = surface needs to be something else like overlay!!
'Will the jury kindly dis-regard the last statement!
