My SNES is pretty yellowed, but not that bad...

Do have a PC in my father's closet that's also showing signs of yellowing.

Looks more bronze to me than yellow at this point 😜

I'll get us started. For palette calibration, I have included a white box and a couple of items with an 'expected' level of yellowing. Is there an easy way to match Pantone shades? I'm considering taking the case to the local DIY store to find out the Dulux palette equivalent. I'm thinking this one might be 'Nicotine Sunset'.

It's funny how attached people can become to their first PC. I would love to get back my Ambra 386SX-25.that was a very unconventional case. The one photographed was found in a garage a few months back with a VLB system in it. It's one of only two AT cases I have and the only one with an LED display. Maybe I'll bleach it and turn this into a 'before and after' thread.

That I know of, exposure to UV light. Probably other causes too (smoking?) I know it yellows wall paint.

You really want it more yellow? tobacco smoke even the forest fires made all my cases a little yellow most smoke will make older plastic turn yellow

Smoke stains clean up with a good enough cleaner. - UV yellowing, not so much.

Give it a bit more time and you'll have it golden! Hahaha.

Have you tried retr0bright? Some of my friends treated their yellowish consoles with it (SNES/SFC/Dreamcasts) and it worked pretty well.

I read about retr0bright a couple of years back when I was looking to restore my Gameboy but I have never got around to making any. I now have a long enough list of items I could treat to make the process worthwhile. I'd love to know what this case looked like originally
