I was watching the latest Ancient Dos Games review of Stargunner which informed me of these games. Thank Kris for the awesome review.

They look like they are repackaged to run on XP and higher with DOSBox. On a pure DOS system is it as simple as extracting the game folder, putting it in your DOS games directory and running the EXE?

The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know.

Two of the seven worked out of the box for me on my DOS rig. The other five gave various errors. I'll try setmul next.

With setmul, 5 of the 7 work. The only ones that don't work are Stargunner (the one I'm most interested in). Falls back to DOS prompt with "Divide Overflow". Also the DOS fontsize becomes gigantic until I reboot. I wonder if this is due to my motherboard's inability to disable Shadow settings in the BIOS? I have one other game (US Navy Fighters) that won't run due to this.

The other game is Alien Carnage, which just goes back to the DOS prompt after running CARNAGE.EXE.
