has anyone encountered any dos emulators that either work in java or natively on series 90 os for NGage?
I'd love to somehow get XCOM on my phone...
What are you, nuts? DOSBox running on a state-of-the-art PC can't run all programs at full speed. Running on a handheld? Not a chance.

Well, DOSBOX *unoffically* runs on PocketPC (of course its speed correspond to the lower speed of PocketPC processors).
But I think that mobile phones are still out of question.... When they have (minimum) a few hundred Mhz processors and 64 MB RAM it is possible to start thinking about using them (for some old games).
An emulator in Java is a complete nonsense - it would be too slow to emulate PC in Java. Additionaly, the current mobiles limit Java programs to very small space.
In short - wait a few years or buy something with Pocket PC.
