hi guys
i'm trying to run this card on pc:
voodoo_mac.jpg
main problem was custom graphic modes programmed by gal chips, so i disabled them and connect ramdac directly to fbi chip as it on conventional voodoos. so ramdac detection now is passing successfully. but i'm facing with another problem, looks like tmu chip doesn't respond to fbi commands. in log file i see error on tmu reset, and initilalisation stopping on this step

any thoughts?

Have you flashed the BIOS? It's my understanding that mac voodoos have a different bios from standard PC ones.

I don't think Voodoo 1/2 even have BIOSes.

I thought so too (I mean...why would they even need that?) but I took a look at the pics and it actually has 2 socketed squary ones right next to the PCI connector 😊

Learned something "new" today 🤣

Ahh, thanks for pointing that out! 😁

Anyway, I don't know what else to do about this card, this programming stuff is beyond me 😊
