Hi
I just got a new machine (brand new in box) seems like it was supposed to be used as a POS machine
It's by NCR it's tabled as "Class 3259" by the company
LPX motherboard from Intel "RU430HX"
Theres a bunch of these on ebay I came across mine from a different place (it was still in it's box and appears unused)

Anyway I couldn't wait to put a Voodoo 1 and AWE64 inside and get it going as a Win95 gaming machine but no expansion cards I've added to the machine except the Voodoo 1 will show up on Windows 95 Device Manager
I put in an ISA network card; a PCI network card; an AWE64; all the cards are working I tested them (except the PCI network adapter) in a different machine side by side
I installed DOS and ran the SMC utility it will not detect the ISA network adapter regardless of the slot I used on the riser card; the AWE64 is nowhere to be seen in Windows 95
The only card that will show up is strangely the Voodoo 1
All the other onboard hardware works perfectly; the system itself is fine the CD ROM I added works; i expanded the memory that works; the Floppy and Seagate Drive works; the PS2 ports work etc
---
I have no idea why no expansion cards bar the Voodoo 1 show up in device manager
I checked the BIOS and cycled through all the settings with respect to Plug N Play options
I dont understand why my other Socket 7 machine picks everything up and this one doesn't I just hope the riser card isn't damaged or it doesn't need a bios update because I cant find one for this machine (thats safe to install with instructions anyway)
Thanks let me know if anyone can help the motherboard is a RU430HX from Intel
