Sorry, my English is very bad so there was a misunderstanding. 😊
As my retro-pc is still at my parent's house (you know... room...) I meant that I had no time to test my ESS 1868F with Doom, and I'll be able to do it only during next weekend.
Nevertheless I'm tempted to buy the Dreamblaster S1 blindly, I suppose it will be a good improvement for MIDI...

I've got stuff all over too 😠

And, yes, the S1 has VERY good sound, especially for the price.

All hail the Great Capacitor Brand Finder

That S1 sounds like a computer we had at one point. I remember being very disappointed that the DOOM music didn't sound right anymore.

This DN3D sample sounds pretty cool, though.

By the way, is the ESS 1868F guide is available somewhere in PDF?
Thanks
