I have this Chaintech 5AGM2 Mvp3 socket 7 board that give me some problems on the PCI buses. Basically after tests and tests I discovered that for a reason or another the first PCI bus after the AGP one let me install every cards I need (ex, mpeg2 decoders, usb cards..) and they works correctly. On the other buses I have problems or installing the cards or make them working. Like crash during install or hang at the usage.
It does it also without nothing else installed and even at first installation.
Could it be something broken (capacitors or whatever) on the board or some conflicts (none conflicts on system panels)?
(bios is the latest 1999 and via4in1 installed)
